My Story

before i begin, i want to thank temme lee wei wei for suggesting this superb series for me to watch…

Heroes is a serial saga about people all over the world discovering that they have superpowers and trying to deal with how this change affects their lives. The relatable superheroes include Peter Petrelli, a 30-year-old male nurse who believes can fly, Isaac Mendez, a 28-year-old junkie who has the ability to paint images of the future when he is high, Niki Sanders, a 33-year-old Las Vegas showgirl who can do incredible things with mirrors, Hiro Makamura, a 24-year-old Japanese comic-book geek who literally makes time stand still, D.L. Hawkins, a 31-year-old inmate who can transport himself through walls, Matt Parkman, a beat cop who can hears other people’s thoughts, and Claire Bennet, 17-year-old cheerleader who defies death at every turn. Not only are they discovering what having superpowers means to them but also the larger picture of where their superpowers come from. Eventually their superpowers draw them together when they try to evade the series’ antagonist who wants to harness their super-DNA for himself. Their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world.

It’s a great show indeed…i dont know if its going to be screened here but if it does, dont miss it for anything…

out of boredom, my buddy joanne has suggested me to blog about 2006 has been for me so far…well my memory is a bit bad but i think i can remember most of it…

Started the year visiting grandpa in hospital…not something i was looking forward too…anyways…after that january was ok…came to college and hang out with the gang…

in February, valentine’s day was a big blow for me…somethings that were supposed to happen never took place…well thats another wrong story…

march, start of a new semester in campus…met some interesting new people and joanne became the editor of mongga…yay…

april, had my 20th bday where i somehow won my bet somehow or something like that but things didnt seem that well too…

may, interesting month…watch a lot of stupid movies like Mission Impossible 3 and the Da Vinci Code…both sucked big time…

june, said farewell to some of my friends who left for aussieland…i think the happiest person was eric…

july, second semseter…yay…met more monleys and the incrdeible dr.jeganathan…master plan for langkawi trip started…

august, went for joanne’s play in CF…august was still a dull month…

september, nothing much happened…stuck with assignments and helping friends…

october, lost a friend…the rest of the month seemed ok untill recently…i discovered the true meaning of trust and frienship…thats another long story which most of u know…

november…sitting here waiting for exams to finish

december, plans for summer ruined…

in short, the first half of 2006 was good while the second half sucked…

yesterday i was watching city of angels…its an old movie…but i only saw it for the first time yesterday…and i cried watching it…well ive got a soft thing for movies…anyways…it was a good film…angles…notice that there are no female angels…and they dun have wings…so the idea of angels having wings are just social constructions…

which is todays topic of discussion,

as a soon to be renowned proffesor, i would like all of u guys to know that everything u see is not real…thats wat roland barthes said…and he had the points right…

everything we bloody see is a bloody social construction…its like our whole life has been decided…and this is pissing me off…who gives a damn if ur not cool if ur not in the all thr latest fashion trend…foucault was right too…we are all the product of history…

bloody hell…i mean look at yourself…wat is it in you that is soemthing original?…how many of u guys can actually say ur a product of yourself and not influence by the media in anyway…i knwo im a product of the media…dont believe evrything u see…look beyond the text people…there is more to life than earning money with a dead ened job and getting ur kids married…go see the world…btu how many of us can do that?…only 10% of the world population i guess…and wat about the rest?

why must this happen?…cos of the stupid gap between rich and poor…technology was a mistake…it may have improved our lives but liook wat it has made us…take the handphone…in just 20 years, it has changed…more than a phone…

the older generations are the wiser ones…they dun care about all this apart from a few minorities…its the youth doing all this…the demand for better products…wake up people…enh\joy life…

the greatest thing in life is to love and be loved in return….

Its been a long time…in fact its the first time i think…i saw 2 brilliant films today…i know its exam time…but with all the disasters going around me, i guess it was needed…it was a normal outing with joanne but turned to be one of the happiest moments ive ever spent with a friend…

we rushed to sunway pyramid to catch the 11am show of The Prestige…we made it…and let no one else tell u wrongly but this film is definately a must watch…

indeed it was a prestigious film…one of the best if not the best ive seen this year…from the start to the end…u have to look very closely…indeed u have too…hugh jackman and christian bale…fatastic…christopher nolan…ur great…

the movie is about the rivalries of 2 magicians…im nto going to spoil the fun for u guys…but please…do go watch it…if u think inside man was a twist, wait till u watch this…the biggest magic trick in history…go watch it…

after the film, we were supposed to come home…called mr.jon…they say coming lunch…and so we waited…

this is when joanne found something she was looking for ages…(not a boyfriend)…but…the banquet soundtrack…well the girl has a thing for soundtracks…and she bought it…indeed she was very happy…according to joanne,"it was better than falling in love"…

after that, they came…had lunch in long john silver…jon had a new drink…sproke…comnbination of sprite and coke…den we ate…after that go back…

spotted a toyota vios in car park…it was bee’s…left her a love note by jude law…den we came back…decided to watch another movie…joanne and i have never seen moulin rouge before…booked the av room in library and watched it…

i loved the film…from the songs to the soundtrack to the acting to everything…the line which caught me the most is this,

"the greatest thing in life is to love and be loved in return"…if only that was my case…sigh…anyways, a good funny fun and sad film…both were…

wow…wat a movie…both were great…prestige gets a 10 out of 10…moulin gets a 9 out of 10…

please wacth the prestige…u MUST…

Stupid foucault and his notion of governmentality may be the very base and foundation of the way people look at thing and shit like that

well cos i just finish my exam…yay…i feel like going for a movie but it looks like its gonna rain…i wanted to eat but got no food in cafeteria…im scratching my eyebrow…there’s a guy in a yellow shirt next to joanne but she is not interested in him…she is more interested in the blog she is reading…ooo….

anyways…zwinky is coming to see joanne tonight…they going dinner…zwinky says she wants to have coke flavoured curry with apple rice and wei keat’s cream juice…wei keat also joining them…i think he buying them dinner…

jon is on a date with her…i think so…

chun hor no come today…his having indian delites today…tosai for breakfast, nasi beriyani for lunch and dinner at her place…now i think he in seri kembangan…

time for a story…

once upon a time, there lived a boy…his name was akashi…he was born in osaka japan and spent his entire childhood there…after finishing his secondary education, he went to zwinky university in Afganistan…during orientation, he met this afgan girl…he fell in love with her…but he knew it was not possible for an afgan girl to marry a japanesse guy…but still he tried to talk to her…but it didnt work…den one day in class, he walk up to her and took a knife and stab the person beside her…the police came…and they ask him why he did it? he said the guy was trying to molest the afgan girl…the police ask the girl…the girl say yes…so they let him go…after that, the girl come thank him and give him a card…he looked at the card…it was a wedding invitation…the wedding was between the girl and the guy he killed…but she told him she didnt like him and liked someone else…she liked the arms supplier’s son…and she ask akashi help to join them…akashi looked at her, and said ok…and so he stole a truck…put the 2 of them in it and drove off…he drove and drove and drove…the nearest countries was pakistan but he knew there was no way he could go in…continue driving untill he reach kazakstan…they let him…but he was arrested…they thought he was a spy…and the guy and girl couldnt do anything…in the end, he was put to death…but the couple escape…END

moral of story : dont go to afganistan…
