Spiderman 3…
I realize that a lot of people have different views for this film…some said it was the best of the 3…some said it was ok…and some said it sucked…
as a comm student and an "expert" on textual analysis, i have to say that the film was great in some aspects but also lacked in some aspects…the special effects were great but the acting was ok only…the story was storng but the lines were cheezy…
the entire movie, i only loved one line…and that was at the end…at harry’s funeral…"Whatever comes our way, whatever battle we have raging inside us, we always have a choice, my friend harry taught me that. He chose to be the best of himself. It’s the choices that make us who we are, and we can always choose to do what’s right."…this line i would say was the main turning point of the film…cos if u follow the story, u will see that everything has to do with choices…sandmand chose to ask forgiveness, eddie chose to die with venom, harry chose to help spidey…etc..
another interesting line, "if you want forgiveness, get religion." the siginificance of that, spidey gets rid of venom in a church only to have it consume eddie in a church…i found that seen real cool by the way…
the story was very storng indeed…but the lines were a bit pathetic…
nevertheless, a good film…
i cant bring myself to rate this film…10 out of 10 for story…5 out of 10 for acting…
