How to Spend?

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

Can someone please teach me a way of spending money and not regretting later although the money was spent wisely?

Cos seriusly, i dont know why everytime i think of buying something although i need it, i tend to be very stingy…mum just asked me to buy myself a new pair of jeans when she noticed how badly rugged my jeans was…and she also told me to get some new shirts after noticing i wear the same old clothes back to ipoh…

now the thing is, i just cant do it…i dont know why i suddenly hate the capitalistic world of shopping…i mean i desire stuff but i dont want them…im not kelvin raj…my bro is a champion shopper…in the last six months he has bought more shoes and shirts then i have bought in six years…but aaron raj is not kelvin raj…

hmm…any of u guys have any idea on wat i can do?…and of course there was the stupidest thought of buying something for someone which ended in me getting a lot of scolding from my friends…well i never did buy anything for anyone yet…so dont worry guys i took your advice…although, this is something i know i will regret but i still wanna do it…wats wrong with me?

im not being a capitalist hater here…but i guess i just dont feel good in spending money i dont earn myself…

cheers…

The Aaron Raj Futsal Trophy…

Monday, September 10th, 2007

As of 10th September 2007 onwards, everyone is invited to take part in the Aaron Raj Futsal Trophy Tournament…This tournament will be open to all those who have a love for futsal…At the end of each month, the player who scores the most goals, player who has the most clean sheets and the player of month will get a prize…Prizes will depend on Costa once the elections are finally finished…divya, we’re still waiting…anyways, this is just part of my plans to make Costa become back to its glory days again…

Of course it will not be called The Aaron Raj Futsal Trophy…It will be call the Costa Futsal Award…i guess its just one way of getting people to come and play…and also participate with Costa…People in charge would be Arie…

Based on todays game played by 16 people which was quite an unexpected figure knowing that everyone has assignments and all, i think its gonna be rather successfull…soon we’re gonna break up and form teams and have like a Premiership…hehe…

The score today was 15 - 12…

The top scorers
Feeza - 6 goals
Jay - 5 goals
Arie - 4 goals

I only managed 2 goals…haha…mindy score 2 as well…and good old max tan scored an amazing goal to take home…

The Malaysia International Tattoo Festival 2007…

Monday, September 10th, 2007

Saturday Night, 8th September 2007, Stadium Merdeka…

It was amazing…For the first time, seeing 13 countries military bands performing…it was worth it…countries that took part include Scotland, US, France, Phillipines, SIngapore, Thailand, Pakistan, Malaysia, India, Jordan, Brunei, New Zealand and Korea…

Here’s the list from my least favourite to the best…

France - No idea what they played although the brought in their pacific brass band…

Philippines - Boring but was rather enjoyable with their dances…

Jordan - Nothing really that fantastic…

Korea - Their drums seemed to amuse me…thats all…

Pakistan - Apart from trying to compete with India, they were not bad…

India - Also trying to compete with pakistan, they were represented by the royal air force band…nice…

Singapore- Well, they came in with rasa sayang and had fun…

US - more entertaining with their version of My Girl and left with The Saints Go Marching In…

New Zealand - they didnt really perform with the band rather they did their traditional dance…amazing…

Thailand - Somehow they were rather entertaining as well…and the crowd loved them…

Brunei - they were funny and they crowd enjoyed them…they were more into karaoke…

Malaysia - they had different categories, from the police to the navy…but as the home host, they were enjoyed…

Scotland - just brilliant…never before have i seen such a performance by bagpipers…amazing grace was played and i could feel the respect within the crowd…

it was a good event…

Filming accomplished…

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

Well, i just completed filming another feature film…it isnt really a feature film but yeah something like that…it was an amazing experience working with a bunch of people whom i dont really know but i enjoyed every second of it…being behind the camera and directing…the feeling is just amazing…who ever thought aaron raj would be filming the nominees of mr and miss monash 2007…in film noir somemore…wow…

it did feel rather professional with my cast doing the right stuff and not really forgetting the lines apart from the bloopers…a good cast for a good film…the script and storyline was very cheezy but that’s what noir is all about…

to all dr.andrew enthusiasts, watch out for the male gazing, femme fatale scenes and me 360 degree scene…muahaha…

if all goes well, the film will be premiered next tuesday…

and the best part is, we forgot to give it a title…but overall, it was a good experience for everyone…for the cast and the assistants as well…

in the words of kah chun hor, "aaron, ur becoming famous…"…my career is building up slowly…next is to buy me own camera and start doing bigger films…goodnight everyone…

The Namesake…

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

The Namesake, a film directed by Mira Nair indeed was a rather heartwarming interesting, self-discovery film…courtesy of dr.yeoh, i just finished watching this film minutes ago and thought a lot about myself and decided to blog about it…

Im not gonna talk about the part i found rather interesting but i was amazed of Mira Nair’s direction…having seen her previous films, Monsoon Wedding and Kamasutra, yes she made the film Kamasutra which has a lot to do with the indian sex thingy but is not a porn film, i realize this women isnt really that bad…as for the acting, i was rather amazed with Kal Penn’s performance…the dude from Harold and Kumar Go To Whitecastle was not bad…lots of hot indian chicks with american accents…such a turn off…i rather those with british accents…however, there was one with a french accent…wow…hehe…

overall, a good film which i feel any of u guys who think ur not happy with your name should watch…my rating, a 8 out of 10…
