Well, its not really a happy or sad day…But i got great and greater news…First great news is my valentines video is up…A bit different to what was originally planned though…Do check it out…

A body of a 4 year old guy was found hanging in the gardens of Subang Jaya with his guts splattered all over. The guy is believed to be Aaron Raj, a professor film maker from Monash University. The film maker was last seen with a bunch of girls at his studio apartment. Police have ruled out suicide as the cause.
Best friend, Joanne Soo and husband found the body after they were supposed to go out for dinner. They are now assisting police in investigations. The FBI has offered help as well.
More on the earlier story, Aaron Raj was also nominated for a BAFTA for his direction of the love lust film KATANG. The BAFTA committee have sent their condolonces to the family of the late film maker saying it would have a moment of silence for him during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, local film star Michelle Yeoh said she was deeply saddened with his death and said it was a national tragedy. Yeoh who was schedulled to star in Aaron’s next film along side Christian Bale and Alan Rickman.
More condolences pour in from celebrities worldwide on his death. Johnny Depp said Aaron was a good friend and he will be missed. Celebrities are expected to fly in for the funeral. Some of the big names coming are J.J.Abrams, The Coen Brothers, Will Smith and Jerry Bruckheimer. Also expected to come are Aaron’s ex gfs including Lindsay Lohan and Rihanna.
The Pope has declared a 3 day mourning period from today. Pope John Paul IV honoured Aaron Raj for his contribution to the catholic church especially in his film colaboration with Mel Gibson, The Pope.
US President Schwarchenegger says he didnt expect Aaron to be terminated show young. Meanwhile Malaysia PM, Hissamhuddin says the country has lost a hero.

Well, its back to work today after a 4 day off…quiet day at work with the boss not around…most of the staff are happy he isnt around…cos we were free to do wat we want…had a nice free lunch at Ikano courtesy of collegue…came back to office…
went ang-pow collecting at 2 staff house…haha…drinking wine and beer at 4pm is not something i normally do but since its chinese new year, why not…
uni is starting soon…cant wait for it…
oh by the way, i heard MU lost…hehehehe…
but honestly, MU played terrible…watching the second half was so boring…even Man City was boring in second half…and the chelsea - liverpool clash…i think the comments in eurosport speaks on my behalf…"if chelsea and liverpool play like this overseas, the idea of EPL games overseas will be scrapped by the 2012 season"…the most boring game ever…

Its not the most pleasent time for me actually…personally , i dont like the diea of elections and democracy…i still think a communist way of life is better…have i gone mad? i think i have…haha…
Coming from a family with quite a huge political background, elections is going to be rush hour agian for us…in 2000, 1 uncle stood for elections…in 2004, 2 uncles…in 2008 2 uncles and 1 aunty…damn…probably in 2012 elections, i will be standing for MP as well…haha…
The Star wants to extend me because of this…they like my work and they know i do my work…but now i have to choose…I want to dedicate my last sem doing uni stuff from Costa to making films…also, need to concentrate on my studies…but on the other hand, election fever is the best experience i can get from a newsroom…what do i do?
Cambodia trip is just 5 months away…to go or not to go?…definately going but this time, i wanna be incharge of blog or be cultural director…i dun wanna be technical chief again…
Went to lunch with the boss, rosie and few other staff…the boss’s car is in a real mess…probably the most untidiest car i’ve ever seen…dun know if all media people like that…but i am getting used to this whole media thing…i love the flexible hours…although i work till late at times, its better den getting up at 7 to escape traffic for a 9am job…
valentine’s day is coming up…i dun see the purpose of why everyone gets so hyped up about it…incluyding myself…hence i told the office we should do something different…do a video on the people who wont be celebrating or give a damn about valentines day a.k.a the single people…

it may have seemed easy but it was the dumbest and scariest thing i ever did…i dont think i ever wanna read the news again…
it all started when the news reader called in saying she cant make it…den, my producer ask me to read…but i said i havent shaved and im not dressed properly…and it so happens, one of the staff carries a razor in his car…and he brings it for me to shave…damn…so i shaved in the star toilet…weird…next, i had no coat to fit me…it was to small…i say find someone else but they insisted i do it…eventually, i had to wear a huge jacket which made me look like some pervetic inspector from fleet street…
and then the news came…standing behind the camera and standing in front of the camera are 2 different things…behind the camera is cool…in front of the camera, i am terrible…so many lights…i couldnt do it…eventually i read the news after 3 takes and it still sounded bad…i was so nervous i could have shit myself…
damn…if u guys wanna see how bad i was, go to the star website and watch the news…grab some popcorn and have a good laugh…and yes, i know i was reading too fast and bad pronounciation….
need to get me eyes check…

By the time i finish my internship with the star, i would have gained enough experience to start my own news channel…haha…day by day, im learning more new stuff, meeting more people and most importantly, feeling good about it…it may have been a real busy week for me but i realized, i learned a lot…from batu caves to vip funerals to fashion shoots…what else can i ask for?
Valentine’s day is coming…i dont know if i should really look forward to it…i think i should…for the simple reason, i have been asked to do a story on valentine’s day for the website…another aaron raj production for the star…a friend of mine told me to look at it as experienced so next time i will know what to do…anyways, i will be needing to interview couples for valentines day…so any u guys who think u all will be doing something special or planning to do something special on valentine’s day, do let me know so i can put u guys in me video…
And im also glad that my Philippines documentary is finally coming to an end…after almost a month since my return from Baguio and Sagada, the video is 95% completed…I will be in uni on Monday or Tuesday to complete the recording…
Besides that, i watch Sweeney Todd yesterday with Joanne…Great film i must say…enjoyed it a lot…it was good to meet JOanne after a long time…she hardly recognize me i must say…haha…maybe i need a haircut…should make an appointment with Mr.Todd…
And last but not least, after a terrible defeat at white hart lane last week, we’re back in business with a massive 3 - 0 victory to Newcastle…as for liverpool, the moment the visiting team scored the first goal, millions of bookies made money…i hate it when games are planned…

The last 2 days have definately been the busiest and most exciting days of my life…
On Wednesday, it was Thaipusam…My australian intern friend and i went to Batu Caves…took the train there…although it wasnt as crowded as i expected it to be, it was very tiring…we climbed all the way to the top to shoot a few scenes and get down to interview people and do lots of other interesting stuff…overall, it was a good shoot…but it was really tiring…
Yesterday, i was supposed to go to Central Market to shoot the shop thats selling the Lingam shirts…Unfortunately, one of the ministers died…had to go shoot his funeral…first time im actually attending a muslim funeral…a lot of VIPs were present…Big names include Najib, Samy Vellu, Liong Sik, Ka Ting, Perak MB, Melaka Yang Di Pertua, KJ and of course the biggest honour for me was to film the Raja Muda of Perak…he came also…i really enjoyed the experience…being pushed by body guards and other cameraman just to get a good shot…this is what being a reporter is all about i guess…my only regret is that i couldnt film former PM Tun Dr.Mahatir…by the i came, he had left…damn…well, at least i got to film his wife at the cemetary…Some of the VIPs were friendly…there was this one guy…i cant remember his name but very familiar…he spoke to me, asked about me course and all…what he should have asked is whether i needed any scholarship fundings…haha…
anyways, i enjoyed myself…tiring but fun…and since most of my staff are on emergency leave, im now the official stand by cameraman…haha…well, in other words, im more like a full time staff compared to an intern…they already want me to extent my intern so i can be around for elections…lets see how it goes…

went out with an old friend yesterday…me, chun hor and mr.eric lee teck seng…it’s been a year since i last saw him…and probably another year till i see him again…
it was a good reunion…although it was only 3 of us…we had dinner, some drinks and mamak…it was nice catching up with this fellow after such a long time…he’s 90% still the same but has changed a little…
but i guess its not how u change that matters, its how strong ur friendship is that matters…metting this guy after a year, i thought i wont be able to communicate with him like before, but, the 3 of us were just like old times…it was as if he never left malaysia…
eric, next time we meet, remember what we agreed ok…
The day i feared most finally came…on friday the 18th of January, my grandmother died…it was the end of the suffering she went through for over a year…
When i saw her, she seemed so calm and peacefull…in one way, im glad that she has to suffer no more…it was a nice funeral…lots of people came…i think she is really blessed as she had so many groups of people coming and praying…one after the other…
Sadly, i feel pity looking at my grandfather…the moment my grandma died, my grandfather had a heart attack…it was a mild attack…he was supposed to get admited but he refused to…i hoep he gets well…i dun know how i’ll be if he goes as well…
But i was very dissapointed with the Catholic Church…especially my church in Ipoh…the priest refused to allow me to do a eulogy for my grandma in the church…i had to do it at home…and he also refused to allow us to open the casket in the church to allow those who came to church to view…some new rulling apparently…
anyways, im sure my grandma will be rewarded for all her good deeds in heaven…its sad she wont be around to see me graduate…but i know she will be watching over me from up there with my dad…
